Kete Week 6

My monster is Joat the Goat. She is vary wary and scared of almost everything, but tries to frighten things. When she gets angry or too determined to do something, however, she won't hesitate to hurt someone who gets in her way with her Fire magic.

She has white fur and wears a green and yellow dress. When using magic, her dress changes to a purple and white one and her bright red eyes glow purple. She also loves flowers, especially buttercups. She is best friends with Nostrich the Ostrich. Her favourite place to go is the patch of buttercups near her house.

I have been practising a motion sequence for the Ocean. I am a vortex, and I just spin around and around(I get super dizzy). I have a completely random movement pattern.

Jade 21/10/2016 Writing

The young girl floated away from the destroyed world, her dark brown hair flailing, floating into the void. She could hear high-pitched giggling, and she knew whose it was.

“Chara! Show yourself!” she shouted. The other voice giggled.

“Come on Frisk, it’s too late to go back. But you want to, don’t you? You’re as frightened as a deer. You know that that comedian will remember.” Frisk began to cry.

“Heh. You’re more of a crybaby than… than… no, I can’t say his name.” Chara said, her voice quivering.

“You mean Asriel?” Frisk finished. Chara suddenly sounded flustered.

“Don’t say that name!” she scolded.

“Or what? You’re just the ghost of Princess Chara of the Underground. You can’t do anything to hurt me.” Frisk replied.

“I dropped that name long ago. I am no princess. I am Chara, the demon that comes when people call it’s name.”

Frisk floated around for about 10 minutes. She was starting to feel regret for what she’d done. This all started out with her just being a jerk to Flowey! And he deserves it, he is a jerk! Suddenly, Chara’s voice rang out across the pitch-black void.

“You still want to go back. Hmph. That can be arranged. You still have something I want.

“You give me your SOUL, and I’ll bring this world back. Sound like a fair deal?”

Frisk would do anything to bring back the world she destroyed. She nodded, and held her hands over her chest. A bright red heart glowed in the darkness, floating in her hands. She closed her eyes, and held her hands out. The red glow was put out, and suddenly, she was running up a mountain. She did it! Frisk thought. Suddenly, she tripped. This was the fourth timeline she’d been in. She let herself fall this time.

Poof! She landed on the familiar bed of golden flowers. Her blue sweater with two pink stripes was covered in golden petals. So were her matching blue shorts. She lay there for a second, a bit winded from the fall, before standing up and walking to the dark purple door. In the next room was Flowey the Flower. Ha, more like Flowey the Jerk, jeez. Frisk thought sarcastically. She walked through the door.

“Howdy! I’m Flowey! Flowey the Flower!” said the flower. A familiar tune began to play.

“You’re new to the Underground, aintcha? Golly, you must be so confused! Someone ought to teach you the way things work down here! I guess little old ME will have to do!”

At this point, the only thing going through Frisk’s mind was, Don’t be a jerk, don’t be a jerk, DON’T BE A JERK! What remained of her SOUL after Chara took it sat in the Battle Box.

Narrative 20/9

As we traversed across the make-shift bridge to the other side of the murky river, we were forced to hold on to the barrier, which my best friend, Kairi, wasn’t happy about. She was a bit of a butter-fingers. Luckily, her boyfriend, Sora, was right behind her. I began to remember the times when my friends and I were like, 4, and we would always swim in the formerly crystal-clear water. 10 years later, it looked like this.

The town we lived in was destroyed by Vanitas. He was hunting us down as we spoke. We had to run away to ensure our safety.

Roxas, who was in front of me, started jumping around. So I pushed him, nearly knocking him off the bridge. “Namine!” he exclaimed. “If you do that, you’re going to knock someone else off!” I retaliated. Then I saw a random leg floating in the air. Axel was climbing the barrier! “Axel!” Roxas and his best friend, Xion, exclaimed. As Xion grabbed his leg, Roxas’s twin brother, Ventus, was pushing around his older siblings, Terra and Aqua. Riku trudged along at the front, as he was very fast-moving.

Suddenly, the bridge jumped, and we all heard a shrill scream. We looked down to see a black-clothed figure with black hair fall.

“XION!” we all shouted. Roxas almost caught her, but he was too late.

When we finally arrived at the end, Roxas and Axel were standing by a tree and talking. I knew what they were talking about. Xion. She was their best friend, after all. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Aqua, Terra and I all walked to the river to check if she was still out there. Just as we lost hope, we heard a muffled “Namine!” I turned and saw Xion trying to swim to shore. Sora, being the only person who can swim, swam out to get her.

When she returned, Axel and Roxas were overjoyed to see her. However, she was freezing, so Roxas offered her his jacket. I was rather mad when she accepted, due to the fact that I have had a crush on Roxas for a long time.

As Sora grabbed wood for the fire, we all sat around shouting random things we heard on strange videos we all watch. “Wait, wait, wait, hehe!” said Roxas, before saying one of our favourite vines. “I guess Toy Freddy is kind of a… a dumber version of Freddy-BRUH” We all laughed. “NO NO NONONONONO NO NO NO!” shouted Sora from a distance. We all cracked up laughing. It was from another vine video. “Wait, I think I have my kazoo in my pocket… hahaha!” I laughed. “Go Nam!” shouted Axel. Using my kazoo, I played Megalovania from Undertale. I stopped when Terra fell off his chair laughing. “I want my airhorn.” announced Aqua. We all chuckled. “What?” she exclaimed. “We all know what you would do do with it!” Ventus noted. We all nodded.

Riku decided that he would get up during the night.

“OUCH!” we heard. We all ran outside to see Riku sitting on the ground laughing. “What did you do?” asked Terra. “I… I walked into the tree.” Riku laughed. We all cracked up. Then a distant voice shouted “DARKNESSDARKNESSDARKNESSDARKNE-”, before another voice shouted “SHUT UP AXEL!” We all knew it was Axel and Xion.

After we had been there for a couple of weeks, we knew we had to go back across the bridge. After what happened last time, Xion was scared. However, Roxas and Axel reassured her.

As we traversed back across the bridge, I yelled “PIZZA, PIZZA YEAH, FOR YOU AND… MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!” I made the ‘ME’ sound like a jumpscare from Five Nights at Freddy’s. Kairi almost fell off the bridge laughing, but Sora and I caught her and pulled her back up. “Okay, no, don’t do that!” Kairi laughed. “I’M SORRAY!” I exclaimed.

As we arrived at our destination, Terra, who was desperate to show how glad he was to be back… faceplanted on the ground. Xion began running toward her house, before tripping over and laughing.

Oh yeah, did I mention we have powers? That’s why Vanitas was hunting us down. Sora can freeze time, Kairi controls light, Riku controls darkness, Roxas can summon these beings he calls “Nobodies”, Xion can absorb the powers of others, Axel can control fire, Ventus can control wind, Aqua controls water, Terra controls earth, and I can manipulate the memories of others.

The person who caused all of this, and our arch-enemy, Vanitas, was walking down the road. We knew there was no running this time.

We had to fight.

Aqua trapped him in water, before Kairi shot balls of light at him. I tried to access his memories, but he noticed and tried to attack me. Kairi taught me gymnastics when we were kids, so I just had to cartwheel out the way. Sora had a special form that he can access if he goes REALLY agro. He had to go into this form to beat him.

As Sora changed form, he completely changed. His outfit was silver, he had 2 floating swords behind him and he was now floating. His spiky brown hair wavered in the wind.

Sora charged toward Vanitas, hitting him multiple times. However, Vanitas jumped out the way and went for me. I didn’t see him coming, and he hit me straight in the head, and I got knocked out.

As I floated around in this strange place, I thought I was dead. The happy memories of my friends and I were embedded in the wall. I heard the screams coming from the outside world. “KAIRI! SORA! Anyone…?” I shouted. I thought I was dead for sure. But I needed to help my friends! I couldn’t let them die…

I wouldn’t.

I woke up to see Roxas lying on the ground with his 2 swords next to him. Sora was injured, and everyone else was out cold. I grabbed one of Roxas’s swords and ran towards Vanitas. I sprinted, holding the sword in 2 hands. He was facing Sora, which gave me the perfect opportunity.

Vanitas cried out in pain as the sword struck him. He fell to the ground. Just to make sure, Sora stabbed him again, before reverting back to his normal form. “Wow.” I panted. “He’s a lot weaker than we thought.”

A few months later and everything was back to normal. Xion was now living with Axel. She wasn’t interested in Roxas anymore. I was living with Roxas, Ventus, Aqua and Terra. Riku, Kairi and Sora were also living together. We had a party at my house most nights.

And things haven’t changed.
